Is my request binding?
No. Sending the form is free and non-binding. We check availability and confirm a quote for private rides or the fare basis for a Local Taxi ride.
When is my booking confirmed?
A request is never a booking. We send our offer and terms; after you accept, we expressly confirm your ride by email or WhatsApp. For a metered Local Taxi, we first explain the fare basis.
When and how do I pay?
No payment is needed to ask. We explain the available payment method and due date before confirming your booking. You book and pay Private Driver Zurich even when an independent partner provides the ride. A metered taxi fare follows the applicable tariff unless a fixed price is agreed.
What if I need to cancel?
For a confirmed standard fixed-price transfer, cancellation is free more than 24 hours before pickup; 25% applies from 12 to 24 hours, 50% from 6 to under 12 hours, and 100% under 6 hours. Individual terms may be agreed for special rides. We explain any charge for a metered Local Taxi before confirming it. Please see the full Terms & Conditions for no-show and waiting rules.
Which car is right for us?
We recommend the BYD SEALION 7 for up to 3 guests. A fourth guest is possible on request. Tell us the number and size of your bags: four seats do not mean space for four large suitcases. We confirm the right car or partner van before you book.
Can you take us from Zurich to Geneva?
Yes. Tell us your pickup address and destination in Geneva, or another Swiss city. You can also ask for a ride back.
Can the driver wait and bring me back?
Yes, you can request this. Tell us how long you need the driver to wait. We confirm availability and the full price before you book.
What if my flight is delayed?
For a confirmed airport arrival pickup with a valid flight number, we monitor your flight. A delay does not automatically cancel the ride. The included 60-minute wait starts at the actual landing time; we explain any extra waiting before agreeing it.
Can I bring luggage or request a child seat?
Tell us the number and size of your bags so we can confirm a suitable vehicle. For a child seat, include your child's age and the seat type needed; it is included only when we expressly confirm it.
May a partner driver provide my ride?
Yes. We tell you before confirmation if an independent partner will operate the ride. You still book, communicate and pay through Private Driver Zurich.
